IPCBA (International Progressive Cat Breeders Alliance)
IPCBA was founded in 1996 with the intent of giving breed charters more control over the standards of their individual breeds. The IPCBA presently recognizes 73 breeds of cats, making it the largest breed registry in the world.

Australian Cat Federation
The Australian Cat Federation Inc, formed in 1972, is an Australia wide, recommendatory body with affiliates in every State and in the Northern Territory.
Cat Fanciers' Association
The CFA is the world's largest registry of purebred cats and its site is packed with information about the breeds CFA approves for registry, as well as general information about cat care. The CFA presently recognizes 43 breeds of cats.
The GCCF is the governing body of the Cat Fancy in the United Kingdom and is the feline equivalent of the Kennel Club.
