My Review 

Whenever there is a celebration of a birthday, holiday, or special occasions, my cats, Rudy and Buddy get a can each of cat food. We call it "snackies". From my first cat in 1997, I have always given my cats dry food as my first two cats had to eat special dietary food purchased from the vet and the canned fold was a special treat for them. There was no "over the counter" dietary food back in the 1970's.

As a result, special canned cat food was an expensive matter to me, so I chose the dry food. With two cats, the cost was $26 for one month's feeding of two cats as opposed to $30.+ for canned food. It is the same today, but with my vet's okay, the special dietary dry food now selling in grocery stores are as safe as what I had purchased from the vet.

I only purchase Purina, 9-lives and Friskies as they are the only brands my first cats could eat and I never tried to change brands as the others came along. After five cats, I am satisfied with these brands. As kittens, grew up on these brands of kitten food. I have never had a cat turn away from any of these brands as every time I buy the food, I buy a different flavor, sometimes I mix two or three flavors together to make a "5-star restaraunt" meal for them.

Very rarely do they leave more than "scraps" in their dishes. Sometimes they eat all the food before time for more, and they are practically begging for more, which they get in a very small portion. No overweight cats in my household. If the cats are satisfied, I am satisfied.
