Da Bird has been a hit in our family for years. It played a part in Coco going from overweight to svelte many years ago when I first got it. Coco is now 11 1/2 and no longer does amazing backflips to get it, but still likes to bat at it from a lying or standing position, especially after she's been watching her younger sister playing with it.
My new almost-kitten, Calypso, does amazing backflips to get it, scampers up her scratching post after it, and if I set it on the floor momentarily she will drag it away, growling at it the whole time. I'm going through lures very quickly now, but lures are cheap :-)
