How I Came to Love Black Cats
I grew up with cats throughout my childhood but never a black cat. I picked a black cat from almost falling into a ditch and found out that my partner was telling me the story of a shrilly cat sound behind his house the night before only to find that he can't find anything when he went and look for it. Apparently, the cat that's making the scary noise is the one that I picked!!! Salem had always been the cat that everyone would love to hate. I mean he's black and have a scary mysterious stare. All my friends was saying how scrawny and ugly he is when I picked him up but to me he is majestic.
How Black Cats Differ from Other Cats
* Black Cats are VERY personal and exclusive, they choose their owner and who they want to be with all the time.
* Salem can open doors and persuade others to open doors for him. He managed to make my Mother in Law, who hates cats to wake my husband up and open the room door so he can eat and sleep on my bed.
* Black cats are gentler
* They're very sensitive to your mood, when I was feeling sad and was lying on the bed, my other cat Kiki will be jumping around playfully whereas Salem will come and sit and lie next to me.
