The Most Fun Part of Blogging
For Katnip, it's a blast to sharing funny moments and observations about life with my 3.5 cats (that's ANOTHER story, check out the posts called "The Daisy Chronicles").
And to see the joy it brings to others. The comments I get back -- either on the blog or one-to-one -- really are the icing on the cake.
The Hardest Part of Blogging
I've yet to choose and move to a Wordpress theme site. But sooner or later, I'll have to do it.
Also, the challenges are getting people to
A) See your blog B) comment and C) tell others. Posterous helps with that a little. But you have to do your own promoting. So go to other people's blogs, leave good comments (without leaving links to your own blog), and tell all your friends to Subscribe to your blog.
Advice
- Get started. It's easier than you think.
- Posterous.com is a great place to start. Super easy.
- Let EVERYBODY know... send them emails, put links on your Facebook page, and get on Twitter.
- Be sure to help promote other people's blogs. You reap what you sow.
- Comments are "Gold" for bloggers. So leave a comment! You can start with my blog. :)
