When, Where and How I Got My Red Cat
I got Rudy from a dear friend who "rescued" him from another home where he was not welcomed. A described "little bad-ass," Rudy would pounce on the owner's other cat because he wanted to play. The owner wanted to have Rudy (then named "Tigger") put to sleep, so my friend rescued him and brought him to me. We have been inseparable ever since.
I'd Describe My Cat As…
Rudy is not a cat. He is a little human. I didn't need to train him. He would just look into my eyes and understand me. And it might sound silly, but I would understand him. He is definitely a "little bad-ass" -- he's the boss. I have two other cats. Even though Rudy is the smallest in size, he runs the household. He's closer to my other male cat, than my female cat. Personality wise, Rudy is just the sweetest little cat ever. People who are not cat people will meet Rudy and fall in love with him. He loves to be picked up and held. He loves to give kisses. He loves to reach out with his paws and pull your face close so he can give kisses. When he wants to be picked up, he'll stand on his hind legs and reach up as far as he can on your legs. Rudy is the best cat I've ever had. He's just awesome. Not scared of anything or anybody. He really isn't a cat -- he's a little furry human.
