Most Challenging Characteristics of the White Cat
Charlie can be quite the chatty catty, sometimes in the middle of the night. She has the most varied vocalization I've ever heard from a cat. We do really chat together.
When, Where and How I Got My White Cat
Charlie was born in my apartment. She is the daughter of Chess, a blue mackarel tabby, I adopted from the SPCA. The SPCA had a special deal that day. Buy one cat, get three free. ;) They didn't know Chess was pregnant. Two months after adopting her, she delivered three kittens, Stanley, Ollie, both are blue boys, Charlie came out last, and to my surprise was all white. I've kept the family together and now have the whole spectrum, from white to tabby to blue.
I'd Describe My Cat As…
The sweetest cutie you could meet and very photogenic. She has come out of her shell dramatically in the past three years. She was very nervous as a kitten, often licking her tail to the point of neuroticism. But she's past that now, and has grown into a gentle and lively companion. She loves to play with her cat dancer and twist ties, and loves to be brushed.
