When, Where and How I Got My White Cat
Sam was just a kitten when I spotted him sitting patiently waiting for someone to rescue him. He was sitting in front of a grocery store. He had a collar with an 800 phone number to call. The number hadn't been registered. When I first found him, I thought he was a black cat - he was so dirty and flea bitten. It didn't take long at all for him to make himself at home and to also claim top "dog" status above the other cat already in my house.

Sam is persistent when he wants attention! His nickname is stealth, because he slowly sneaks his way into your face. He always wants to feel my breath on his face. For a white cat he has always kept himself very clean. The only mark on him is a freckle on his nose! He has yellow eyes, therefore not deaf. Sam had quite a healthy appetite and he became heavy. I put him on weight control food and he lost the extra weight. His fur became quite rough. I suspected diabetes and he is now on insulin twice a day. The insulin is making a difference. He is a great cat.
