When, Where and How I Got My Cat
Button was a throw away, not weaned, and was seen under a parked car in the business area of our small town. As a rescuer, I was called . When we got her out and rushed to the vet, he wished me the best but said to not expect too much. After 3 days, with his prescription, medicine droppers for round the clock feeding, plus LOTS of cuddling love, Button ran across the floor to nuzzle our three other ladies. At 5 yrs, we didn't think they would accept but they adopted her. Because of her sad start, we decided Button deserved more so she has become the big girls baby and is so loved. Today she has a forever home.
I'd Describe My Cat As…
Full of life, runs like the wind, stands up for treats, and is the first one on the bed when we finally go up at night. She is now being introduced to her harness and leash, so she can go outside and sniff the flowers and grass. She is a little shy of a man but with a gentle voice, he can soon pick her up. We travel so she is very relaxed in a carrier with her sisters. No medical issues, takes a prescribed vitamin and will see doctor once a year.
Advice
- Think about adopting an unloved, unwanted. They have so much to give back. We bought three siamese that we just adore, but Button has become a major part of our life and we would not hesitate to do it again.
- NEUTER! Live shelters are full and having to put them down because the supply is bigger than the demand. Help stop this!
