When, Where and How I Got My Cat
Her previous owner was dying from cancer and a friend of my husband asked if we wanted a kitten. I would always play with the kittens at the pet shop where I would by my bird food. Oddly enough I did this 2 days before my husbands friend asked him. My husband called me from work and asked me if I wanted a cat. I told him I didn't know. That evening he asked me again. The following morning he called me from work and said he could come home early and bring the cat home with him along with the litter box and her food. I said ok we could try it.

Even though she stayed under the couch for 2 weeks after we got her, she turned out to be cute, fun to watch, a character, she gets along well with the parrot. Plays with her toys, sleeps on the chair with her new "daddy" She didn't care much for her new "mommy" at first but now she follows her around the house during during the day and even knows when we forget to do something. She sits on her little chair and watches for her "daddy" to come home from work" and after dinner time is set for brushing where either I or my husband do a real good brushing that she actually enjoys getting.
Advice
- Never be afraid, though she didn't like me when we got her, the following day she was up on the bed cuddling with me when it was time to wake up. So my Long Haired Tabby is a Keeper.
