When, Where and How I Got My Cat

When I lost my last cat I had to quickly get another at the CA SPCA where I adopted my Mao and she was 6 months old. She is now almost three years old and couldn't imagine life without her in it. We also call her our puppy because she loves "Beneful" roasted chicken recipe dog food.

I'd Describe My Cat As…

She is a pretty large muscular cat and boy can she run fast. She is bronze in color with the most beautiful coat I have ever seen. She has become an amazing part of our family filling our lives with loyalty and joy. She acts more like a dog than a cat. We have a large house but she is always in the room where we are, doesn't like to be left alone too long. I have had many cats during my 50 years so far, and this cat is the smartest and most amazing cat I have owned to date and will surely get another one

Advice

  • If you obtain an Egyptian Mao, keep in mind that they are a very old breed that was worshiped by the pharaohs of Egypt thousands of years ago, so they are old soul types with soulful eyes that look right through you, and will give you literally goose bumps at times.
