When, Where and How I Got My Tortie

I'm a kitten fosterer and Mya is temporarily in my care.

She came to me 1 week before giving birth and now has 6 healthy 10 day old kittens. When her babies are old enough to be homed she will be found a new home too, and I'll be sorry to see her go!

I'd Describe My Cat As…

She's an amazing little girl, she was a stray then went to our shelter for a couple of days before coming to stay with me. Throughout all this she's been completely adaptable has settled well and has taken everything including a painful birth in her stride without a hint of any aggression. She's a real treasure and wil be a lovely companion for someone when she goes to her forever home

Advice

  • Don't come on too strongly to your tortie at first, give her some space and she'll reward you for this with an amazing amount of love and affection
