Spice Girl with Sister Sugar Baby

Cat's Name & Age:

Spice Girl ~ age 6

Best Characteristics of the Tortoiseshell

Her sweet disposition. Lets my Granddaughter "Cathandle" her without a single complaint. Loves the Lap, anyone's lap !! Loves to bring me gifts & sings as she does.

Most Challenging Characteristics of the Tortoiseshell

She is the proverbial "Curious" Cat, into everything. Loves to climb on things she shouldn't.

When, Where and How I Got My Tortie

My sister & Husband found Spice Girl & sister Sugar Baby under their dog Kennel in September 2004. These two were about 5 weeks old & from a Feral litter that I cared for & socialized and subsequently fell in love with. Because of her coloring, I felt the perfect name was Spice. She looks like salt, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc !!

I'd Describe My Cat As…

the most Loving kitty. She is Super Curious, Sweet & Silly,a great disappearing artist, who will sneak into any closet if given the opportunity. Spice is a sweet gift giver & though she is an inside cat only, is able to find something to drop at my feet. Spice is the most social of all my cats & gets along well with her 2 sisters & brother. Spice girl makes me laugh with her antics & is the fastest seat stealer around. Life would be so boring without Spice & her siblings.

Advice

  • Be prepared for long lap time
  • Be prepared to find him/her anywhere
  • Be prepared to recieve gifts
  • Have climbing tower available
  • Don't get a Tortie if you are not prepared to lavish lots of love on him/her.
