When, Where and How I Got My Maine Coon
I foster for LAPCATS, a shelter cat rescue out of Sacramento, CA. Peja was one of my foster kitties. It was love at first sight. (He's the kitty I've always wanted.) He gets along fabulously with my dogs and welcomes all our new foster kitties. Maine Coons and Maine Coon mixes are very popular in our area and we place many of these wonderful cats at LAPCATS.

What can I say about the perfect cat? He's so much fun to have around and be around; he's just great company. Super smart too; someday I'd like to try clicker training and even cat agility. If it's fun, Peja will be ready to try. Maine Coons are sometime described as the dog of the cat world. Peja certainly has many dog-like characteristics: upbeat, joyful, brave, inquisitive, smart, loyal, very loving... I call him the Lion King :-).
