When, Where and How I Got My Manx
Bela was a stray, probably about a year or so old when I took her in and had what I would call short hair. About a month later, she blossomed like a "Chia Pet" plant, and now has medium to long hair. She is a beautiful almost Russian Blue color and has big green eyes.
I'd Describe My Cat As…
Unfriendly. She hates other cats - - hisses and screams at them. Does not like to be picked up. Will sit on your lap only when she feels like jumping up there. She went to the litter box right away, so I feel like someone just abandoned her. She is an indoor/outdoor housecat, so when we had her "fixed", we left her claws so she could defend herself if needed.
Advice
- Do not take in a stray unless you know something about the breed. I'm a sucker for cats, having grown up on a farm around cats all the time, so I felt sorry for her. Now I feel sorry for me!
