When, Where and How I Got My Cat

We got our beautiful cat, Snowball, the very day that we lost our black & white persian to brain cancer. I was heartbroken and my son went on line and found a breeder near us that had a beautiful litter of Persian kittens. I knew the minute I held him that he was the one and he found his way into both my husbands and my heart. He has such a precious face and what a wonderful personality he has. When I ask for a kiss, he kisses my forehead. We love him so much and the feeling is mutual. It is hard for me to leave him for a long period of time because he is so attached to me.

I'd Describe My Cat As…

Beautiful, sweet, loving. gentle and very playful. He loves everyone that comes into our home even if they are so called cat haters and usually they love him before they leave. He trained me as far as his schedule. He lets me know when it is time for his meal. I love it to wake up and see him sitting next to my side of the bed. His favorite time for playing is in the evening on our bed. He brings toys up to play with. He now has me trained to bring his midnight buffet upstairs for his late night cravings. That, my husband thinks is going too far. When we can't find him, we now know to look in the drawer on our sofa. He goes in through the back of the sofa. I think that he is a very special cat and I am so glad the he is ours. Again, we trully love and enjoy our cat, Snowball.

Advice

  • A persian cat is a great pet and a wonderful friend for life. His shedding never ends and it shows up very well because he is white so be prepared to do alot of cleaning. I wouldn't trade him for any price. I love him and am used to the grooming that we have to do daily to minimise the shedding. It never really stops so I would have to say he sheds every day of the year. Thank goodness he likes being groomed and gives me no trouble. A Persian cat is a wonderful pet and I would recommend anyone who wants a loving, sweet pet to buy or adopt one. The are very easily litter trained also. He is Great.
