Cat's name, gender, and ages when you first met and now
Pixie is a female tabby point Siamese. She was 6 months old when we first met and is now almost 2.
How did you first meet your cat?
A friend had recently adopted Pixie but pixie was not getting along well with the friend's existing cat so Pixie joined our household (me, my husband and Calvin a male Persian 2 years old at the time). Pixie and Calvin did not get along at first. It seemed like Pixie might be better off in a single cat household and we started looking for another home for her.
What happened that turned it into a permanent adoption?
We couldn't find any takers for Pixie (she was quite aggressive and hyperactive). So she stayed with us for a while. Calvin and her eventually started getting along and we decided to keep her. She went through quite a few names as we couldn't decide on one that really fit her. Eventually we named her Pixie and both the name and she stuck. Now we can't imagine our home or family without her as part of it.
What I'd Do Differently
- I wouldnt do anything differently - chance and luck brought our little princess to our home and we have been a family ever since
