Bentley is a very playful kitten who loves to be around people. He always loves to be on someone whether its on their lap, laying on their head or sitting on their shoulder like a parrot while they walk around the house. He is very loving and loves to cuddle under the covers in bed.
How I Came to Meet This Kitten
About a month ago my dad told me that there was a cat that lived outside of the nursing home that he worked at. The cat had had 6 kittens and that they were adorable. Within a day I was at his work playing with the kittens. Bentley was instantly my favorite. He kissed my neck and didn't want to leave my side. When I set him down and walked away, he chased after me. I then decided that I couldn't go home without him. My boyfriend came to meet Bentley and quickly realized how perfect he was. He agreed that we should take him home to live with us. The rest is history!
Why I Think my Kitten is the Cutest Kitten
My boyfriend never wanted a pet. He has never been an animal lover. In only a few weeks, Bentley has transformed my boyfriend into a cat lover, which was not an easy thing to do. Ryan now rushes home from work to see Bentley. He reads the paper with him, eats dinner with him and falls asleep after a long day in his arms. The two have bonded in every possible way and it has been so great to watch!
Bentley loves any toy that he can get his hands on but his favorite toys of all are toes. After bringing Bentley home, we quickly noticed his fascination with toes and shoes! Bentley often chases after our toes, pouncing on them and licking them once he catches them! He follows us around, constantly tapping out feet with his paws. Bentley loves our closet. Once we open the door, he rushes in and quickly lays down on our shoes. We can never get him to leave!
Bentley constantly has us laughing. In such a short amount of time, he has proven to be the best companion. We love his playful side as well as his love to cuddle and be close to us. Bentley's adorable personality is what makes him the cutest kitten.
Lessons Learned
- If Bentley wants to cuddle, there is no stopping him. He will push open any door and climb up furniture by any means possible to get to us.
- You can never have too many toys.
- Sometimes you just need kitten therapy when having a bad day. Nothing can cheer you up more.
- It is not just parrots who sit on shoulders, kittens do this as well.
- Although kittens may not be human, they quickly become part of the family.
