What are your kitten's most appealing traits?
She is very smart, active and curious and will learn any trick on a very short time. She follows me through the house and it seems like she is always ready for anything I try, such as playing, sitting-and-staring, or a simple nap. She has nothing else but appealing traits.
How I Came to Meet This Kitten
A friend of mine from school, Jessika, used to rescue cats from the street and took care of them. One day some kittens were born and there she had ten cats on her house, which became too much for her family. I have always loved animals, and always wanted to have a cat, but I never thought it would really happen until I have my own house and my own adopted cats. I really had to try, so I just took one of them in and adopted a calico-coloured female kitten. It was obviously the best decision I've made this year.
Why I Think my Kitten is the Cutest Kitten
She is my first cat and she makes me so happy. She likes to climb the furniture, to play with me and to sleep on my lap. Okay, any kitten can do these things but at first I got scared of cats. I didn't knew how to take care of her and I was trembling, and she was trembling too. And I could barely sleep because all night I had nightmares envolving Chibi, but in less than three days she got my heart. And I wasn't afraid of cats anymore but in love with them.
I know she is special and she is the cutest because we're friends. We're friends who live in the same house, and I can see her everyday and know that she is happy here and will grow into a healthy cat and that we will have a lot of fun on the next years.
Lessons Learned
- Cats are smarter than I thought. They're not like humans, in four weeks I was surprised. I guess in three months she will be like Einstein.
- Having Chibi around changed my behavior. And I think I learned something because I improved myself in some way. When you have a kitten, you have something to take care of, and soon you realize it's worth every little effort.
- Each cat is unique and has its own personality traits, and the only thing they have in common is being cute each on their own way.
