What are your kitten's most appealing traits?
Willow is a little purr-box. She loves to be cuddled, and she loudly lets us know when she is cotent. The white geisha paint around her eyes makes her eyes appear almost other-worldly. Willow pounces on anything that moves, and then she sprints away. She is a spirited addition to her four siblings.
How I Came to Meet This Kitten
Willow was left on the doorstep of a small pet shop one morning. The pet shop could not keep her because their specialty was taking care of birds, fish, and reptiles, so they had to give her away. I happened to be visiting that day for the type of cat food they carry, and when I saw the little box with the tiny fluff of fur nestled in there, something in my heart gave way, and I knew I had come there that day for a reason.
Why I Think my Kitten is the Cutest Kitten
Willow is the cutest kitten because she is like many other kittens in many ways, yet she shows us her own distinct spirit and personality in a way that I have never seen another kitten do. Her likes and dislikes are very pronounced, she is a little fluffy comedian with her pouncing-then-running and her attacks on all of her much bigger brothers and sisters, and she loves in an almost human-like way. Her eyes speak volumes about her condition as the littlest poof in the house.
Lessons Learned
- Running away from someone you aggravate doesn't solve the problem.
- Energy is contagious.
- Height is not an obstacle.
- Facepaint can be manipulative if you know how to wear it.
- Kittens are made of rubber and fluff.
- A kitten is just like an infant member of the family, and the adult cats as well as the adult humans rush to her aid and to make her happy.
