A Little Background on my Cat
Teakee is our very loving/intelligent polydactyl tortie girl. We adopted her in Jan 2010 from North Shore Animal League when she was about 8 weeks old. She was such a teeny tiny playful girl who became ill with some mysterious illness just a day after we took her home. It was touch & go, with days of fever, no appetite for food or water. We had to admit her to our cat hospital where they took numerous tests to find out what was ailing this little girl. The docs thought she might have a medical disorder called Intussusception. We all prayed this was not the case & luckily it wasn't. She is now healthy & happy.
What Were the Circumstances of the Photo?
In this photo, Teakee is sleeping, ten sheets to the wind, on her favorite couch! She is about 6 months old here. Teakee was in such a deep sleep, the camera click and flash did not disturb her for a second! She is a very smart and comical kitty who is now, at 10 months of age, eleven pounds and healthy!

- I took this photo with my Blackberry phone camera and took numerous other photos at this time.
- Just have to seize the moment when you catch your cat doing something unusual. We just happen to be in the right place at the right time for this hard to catch moment!
- Have your camera at the ready at all times! =-)
