Cat's Name and Color (Pattern)
Spice is a Tortie and possible Ocicat mix. She is my little tiger and loves to play fetch with her scrunchie toy and her little bird toy that chirps when you move it.
When and How We Met
We met at an animal hospital in North Vancouver, BC! She and her brother were the only two survivors from her litter and her brother was already adopted. I fell in love with her right away and could hardly wait until she was 6 weeks to take her home!!
How Does the Cat Get Along With Other Cats and Dogs?
Unfortunately her has a strong dislike for dogs. I came in after petting the neighbors dogs and as soon as she smelt them on me she hissed!!
Personality Traits of This Cat
There is certainly never a dull moment with her around. We are just about to celebrate her 6month birthday and I would still rather sit back and watch her instead of tv, especially when its past bedtime!!! She ALWAYS has to be the center of attention!! When I cook she meows, when I'm on the phone she eats my toes, and when I have company over she must be at the center of everything or she'll get into mischief!!
Oh, and believe it of not she loves traveling in the car, loves hotel rooms, and is non stop after I get back from meetings! Flying will be the next big adventure in November!!!!
Compare With Other Cats in Your Home
I don't currently have any other cats, but she is so different from my previous cat Coal. Coal was a pure black independent girl who would cuddle and play when she wanted to, whereas Spice is ALWAYS on the go! She is a constant joy in my life and I'm so blessed to have her as my baby!!!
Lessons learned
- Not to be so paranoid about her getting sick as a kitten. I had to keep reminding myself that if she could survive being 1 out two kittens to survive birth she could probably survive anything in my townhome!!!
