Booboo is the King!

Your Cat(s)' name, age, and gender

Yogi and Booboo- 2years old and both males. They are brothers.

Is one cat the matriarch or patriarch? Describe how.

Booboo is the fighter and hisser and growler. If he gets outside then if he finds another cat, he will fight! Yogi is more passive, not a fighter and never has scratched or bitten us. Booboo won't bite or scratch us either.

How I Became Part of a Cat Family

Both my husband and I have had cats in our lives all thru growing up. Our cat when I grew-up traveled home with us when she was 6 weeks old. She was a siamese. So from then on, she went to the store and camping and on all our vacations with us.

Yogi is more my cat. I trained him to sit on my lap in the evening and he sleeps with me. Booboo is very independant and will not sit on your lap or really likes to be held. He will come up to you and put his face towards your face to be kissed but don't hold him. My husband says "I guess I don't have a cat then". Altho Booboo is the one that latched on to him when we picked them out of the litter and I just grabbed Yogi and we left. Turns out we got them from a lady I had known several years back. So Yogi and Booboo were born together.

Tips and Tricks

  • You can train cats. People think you can't. Like I said I had to train Yogi to sit on my lap. Now he knows around 10:30pm in the evening it is time to sit on mamma's lap.
