Cat's Name, Age, and Gender:

Tori, 16, Female

Best Characteristics of my Senior

Tori, loves communication and cleaniness, on only for herself but her areas...Coming up on the couch and talks to me so I put my leg up and she can lay right next to it and hugs it...Letting me know when she goes in the litter box so I can clean it...allowing me only to brush her face...

Challenges of Life With an Older Cat

diabetes, loosing sight...

When, Where and How I Got My Cat

My daughter had a part time job at a veterinarian, and she wanted a pet.. our home was too small for a dog so I allowed a cat. someone left her and her sibling on the back step of the Vet and we adopted her... She named her Victoria, and we then shortened it to Tori. Because I was home much more than anyone else Tori was mine very fast. She and I have moved to two other locations before settling here and my husband are Tori are friends as well but nothing like the bond she and I share.

I'd Describe My Cat As…

Tori is a beautiful Calico, has a pretty good temperament unless you invade her space and the whole house is her space.... LOL

She is a diabetic and has shots twice a day... Her personality hasn't change much, just that she likes her space more than ever and doesn't like to share me

Advice

  • Senior cats are very loving, and they are loved by their owners... you go thru thick and thin and they are always with you no matter what .. unconditional love is what it is all about.
