Describe the circumstances of meeting your first cat

My cat, or kitten at the time was spotted at my apartment complex peeking out from a shed of old tires, trash, traffic cones, boxes and the like, (I) thought it was something else at the time. I saw that it was a kitten and scared, I had no food for cats at home so I got the next best thing, corn beef hash, he ate it up! He wouldn't come out of the shed so I went in after him, after going through the trash with a flash light I found him shaking under some junk, picked him out of the trash and brought him home. Turns out he had been picked up by a Hawk, and he had some serious wounds, three puncture wounds.

How many visits did you make before adopting?

None, brought him to the vet and they said he couldn't have been more than 4 weeks old, I named him Hawk Eye and that is his story, as he rubs my legs as I type. What a great cat and I am grateful for him, he helped me through a tough time.
