Happy Birthday to Petfinder.com!

Petfinder.com turns 10 years old in 2006. This organization has done wonders for cats, dogs, and other animals in need of forever homes. My two oldest Guidecats, Jaspurr and Joey, were located as a result of a search on Petfinder.com, and I will be forever indebted to that worthy group.

The site is not limited to adoption listings, but also features a "Happy Tails" section. In addition, Petfinder.com worked with Maddie's Fund in setting up the Animal Emergency Response Network, as a result of the devastating hurricanes of 2005. I'd say Petfinder.com has ample cause for making its 10th birthday a yearlong celebration! Jaspurr and Joey join me in congratulating them for 10 years of making a difference in the world of cats.
