I became interested in pet health insurance a few years ago, but at the time, my two senior cats had too many prior existing conditions, so I opted for setting aside savings each month. My vet fund came in handy when those inevitable large bills started arriving. However, since Jaspurr and Joey turned five last month, and Billy became four just a few days ago, it seemed a good time to invest in pet health insurance.
