October Cat of the Month: Scooter

It's been a long haul, and the competition has been close, but in recent days Scooter surged ahead in the runoff, and has a substantial margin over Blackberry, the cute little "Halloweeny" runner-up. Scooter will participate in the Cat of the Year voting in January along with the other Cats of the Month for 2007. Congratulations again to Mary, and thank you for sharing Scooter's handsome photo with my readers. I share your hopes that you will have many, many more years together.

I’m really happy Scooter won. The other cats were ALL swoony of course, and Blackberry was cute as a berry, but Scooter touched my heart. And his photo is so reminiscent of one of my beloved O.

Scooter is just beautiful but I’m a big black cat fan, so, Blackberry is just yummy!
I have to admit that when I first viewed the photos in this competition, Scooter did not stand out to me as well as a few of the other cuties did. After a second look, I could not miss the sleek sophisticated beauty of this creature.
