Pamela Murphy is a freelance writer and copyeditor, but more importantly, she is a dedicated cat rescuer. I recently met up with her on Twitter, and when I checked out her blog, I found some hauntingly familiar pictures of cats. One of them, Boots (now at the Rainbow Bridge) was my Cat of the Week back in 2006. Who could forget that charming fellow, all dressed up for Halloween? Pearl, whose picture as a kitten appears at the top of Pamela's blog, also is featured in my Just Kittens Gallery, and was another Cat of the Week on my site.
In fact, it was like "old home week" looking at Murphy's Cats. In browsing her blog archives I saw more and more familiar faces, many of which have been featured on my site.Pamela was once on the Board of Directors for the Washington Area Humane Society in Eighty Four, PA, which is a no-kill shelter. Many of her cats were adopted from that shelter, and others were rescued directly. Whether you are a fellow rescuer, or just love looking at pictures of beautiful cats, I think you'll love this blog as much as I do.
