February Spotlights

February is going to be a busy month for cat lovers, but one with some fun time also.

For starters, February is the month we honor white cats, because of their pristine, snow-white beauty. Pictured here, is Bijou, a beautiful fluffy white cat. • February is National Responsible Cat Owners Month.
  Well cared for cats are healthier, happier cats, so this is a month for re-evaluating your job as a responsible cat parent. A couple of the measures of responsibility for your cats are listed below.
• February is Dental Health Month
  I recommend an annual veterinary inspection of your cats' teeth, and February is a good time to do so. My veterinarians have always offered discounts for dental work done in February.
• February is Spay and Neuter Day
  If you have a kitten or cat three months old or older who hasn't been spayed or neuter, I strongly advise you to make an appointment for your cat without delay. If you are hesitant because of the cost, Here are some considerable reasons why you should pick up the phone today.

I'll be doing much self-evaluating this month on my own score as a responsible parent to my four cats. I love them, and want to share my life with all of them for as long as possible. I'm sure you feel the same way too.
