Featured Tabby Photo: Briggs

Briggs

"Briggs will be 3 in September. He is a grey tiger tabby, weighing in at about 17 pounds! I adopted Briggs from our local Humane Society in October 2001. At the time my husband and I lived in an apartment but we have since moved into a house and given Briggs plenty more room to run and play and he is as happy as a cat can be! He loves to play in the basement, it's pretty much "Briggsy's PlayGround." He also loves his cat trees, which he is in one of them in the attached photo. He also loves his cat napper and all his toys and scratching posts that are throughout the house! He loves sitting in the trees and catnapper watching the birds outside, some rabbits and stray cats too! He loves the little rings off milk containers. I strategically place throughout the house and he gathers them up and puts them in and around his food bowl. We don't know why he does this, but we humor him! He's pretty much King of the Castle at the Kirkpatrick residence! Briggs is very verbal and loves to play "chase" and "hide and seek" in our home! He likes to take naps, under the shower curtain, with is legs hanging out. We don't know why he does this, but he does. He also naps in clothes baskets or smack dab right in the middle of the bed. He sleeps at my feet or smack up against my back every night, pushing of course for more room. Briggs is the love of my life and my baby boy! Briggs resides with me, Barb, and my husband, Rob, in Tyrone, PA. So it's "me and the boys." "
