This is Emmy Loo, my sweet "dumb blonde". She has no idea how beautiful she is. She was born in my neighbor's garage and is currently 8 years old. This was a "lucky shot"--I call it "Window Shopping" because she appeared in the kitchen window while I was tending the bird feeders just outside. I realized she was gazing at the birds in the tree above my head. She stayed for a brief moment and flitted away indoors to play.

Cats Pictures of the Week are selected from general photo submittals. (I do not accept photos submitted specifically for "Cat Picture of the Week." EmmyLoo's picture is also featured in the December Cats Gallery, and it simply stands out with beauty.

You may send your own photo, using the guidelines on the Photo Submittal page. Be sure to write a paragraph or so about the cat, at least two or three sentences. Our galleries have space for 2500 characters, including spaces, so don't be afraid to tell us about your cat within those parameters.
