Last year, while searching for a last minute special Christmas gift for my daughter, Suzanne (who shares the family affinity for cats), I remembered the delightful "Famous Artists' Cats" paintings by Eve Riser-Roberts, from The Cat Gallery, which I had recently added to my Collectibles Subject resources. I selected two prints, Manet's Cats and Matisse's Cat.

As I had a bit of a problem with the shopping cart (no doubt user error), I emailed the address on the site, and was surprised and impressed to receive a reply from the Artist herself. Eve personally expedited the order and 24 hours later I received the prints, safely contained in a very heavy tube, and in pristine condition. (As a side note, the cart worked perfectly fine when I tried it later.)

These are true prints, not posters; they are on a very heavy, fine quality paper, and the colors are crisp and true. The price was very reasonable, as is the price for the canvas transfers To say that my daughter was thrilled with them is an understatement, and I will definitely return to this site for future orders.

A nice added feature from The Cat Gallery is the ability to send a free greeting card as a preview of a gift, or for any other occasion. In addition to the Famous Artists Cats prints, other cat paintings are available, including a shy Himalayan and a perky Snowshoe.

Eve Riser-Roberts is an award-winning painter. She studied art in London and Wales and at Ventura College, CA, and has participated in numerous art workshops conducted by nationally acclaimed artists. Her oil paintings, etchings, acrylics, and watercolors are in collections in England, Germany, and the U.S. She is currently painting women, cats, and koi. She is also a very nice lady, and an astute business person, with an emphasis on quality and service. I give this commercial site my highest marks for excellence, and do not hesitate to recommend the products herein.
