"A Hard Life"
Hans Silvester spent eight years observing and photographing the cats who abound in 22 Greek islands, including Mykonos, Milos, and Naxos. They are not allowed inside homes, but must compete for food and struggle to find shelter in the cold winters. You won't see the hardship in this book, though. You'll only see the dignity and grace of the cats, as seen through the camera lens powered by the love Silvester holds for them.
