Jeremiah Christopher
"This is my beloved Jeremiah Christopher, who was best friend for over 17 years. I remember seeing him at a pet store back in 1986. He was 7 weeks old. Even though I knew I'd get into trouble, I had to have him. My Aunt Grace (who raised me) took one look at him and said, "Oh isn't that the sweetest little thing. I told you I didn't want a cat." LOL. But Jeremiah won out. He grew close to our little dog, Peanut. I think it was Jeremiah who helped us recover when Peanut died. I do know that that it was he who gave me a reason to go on after my Aunt passed and I had nobody. For many years it was just me and Jeremiah. When I grew ill and was alone, he stayed by my side. Lying next to me and keeping me warm. Whenever I returned home, he would begin to purr from across the room and run to greet me. Jeremiah died in September 2003 and I miss my baby greatly. Yet I know that he is in Heaven and will be the first to greet his brothers Jacob, Toby and myself when our time comes. God bless you Jeremiah. You were a true gift from God."
