When, Where and How I Got My White Cat
Bunny (female) and Botchee (male) are part of a litter of four born in our barn. Their siblings include a red male and female calico. One afternoon, when the kittens were four weeks old, their mother decided she would move the kittens "home"; she lived in a neighbor's barn down the road. I spotted her as she was carrying one across the yard, so I "rescued" them from a life of despair to give them a life of luxury and love.
I'd Describe My Cat As…
Bunny is coy and loving, and enjoys being petted for extended periods of time. She loves to play and will get one toy at a time out of the toy basket and bring it to me for play time. Botchee, on the other hand, is outgoing and bouncy. He enjoys being petted and held...when he wants it. He loves to have all the toys out of the toy basket in one spot and go from one to another playing.
Advice
- One of the main concerns about white cats is the possibility of sunburn and skin cancer, so be sure to shield them from too much sun.
