When, Where and How I Got My Cat
I came back home in 2003 in IItaly after a 3 year teaching contract in Germany with my Bella, my persian 13 year old cat, very much loved and very sick. She suffered a few months and at the end died. I tried to stay by myself, I'm a divorced middle aged teacher, but I could not stand the silence in the house. I found a kitten, she was 4 months, at a friends house. I can say that she chose me! I named her Felicity because she looked as Felix the cartoon cat.
I'd Describe My Cat As…
She's a very curious and loving cat. Sometimes I find her noisy becouse she meows continuously, when I'm working on the pc or am with a guest...But she is playful and is always there behind the front door when I come home. She's been throwing up once a week, brought her to the vet, But I think that now I've found the way to solve her problem. I give her very little food every time she asks. And every day I give her hairball gel. I'm hoping. She's not feeling sick though. At night she sleeps on my bed and at six in the morning she meows at me for food! I don't need an alarm clock! She comes to sniff at every visitor, friend or stranger and is not afraid of people.She hates thunder and the vacuum cleaner.
Advice
- Adopt a cat never buy it! Every cat needs a family but orphans are the best; I think you become their human mother!
